Jordan Marvels, Petra, Dead Sea and Wadi Rum
A 3 packed days which started with meeting at Aman airport early and practising our first Yoga Circle at the airport. We visited the Citadel in the morning which gave an impressive view of the city and the ancient history of this country.
After lunch we travelled to the magical secret city of Petra. We started the visit in the night, with a candlelit hike to the famous building called The Treasury. We started the morning Petra trek to the Monastery very early to bit the heat and return in time for lunch. Challenging but equally magnificent! A few hours in the bus in the afternoon took us to the Wadi Rum, untouched and peaceful desert, with a breathtaking canyon only sculpted by wind, rain and millennia, exactly as shown in the Lawrence of Arabia movie. Our 2nd night’s accommodation was a luxury camp and we were super spoiled with food and very comfortable beds.
Our final day was at the spectacular Dead Sea – a few hours applying mineral-rich mud and floating in the healing properties of the water while relaxing. The trip was concluded with a final yoga session overlooking the dead sea, energising the mind and body for the return to Dubai.
Overall, a group full of life who loved being on the move constantly but resting and taking some time to explore the Self, during the treks, the Yoga sessions and having fun with new friends.
